The TOGAF 8.1 exam is a knowledge test at the end of the course. Candidates undertaking the exam demonstrate that they fully understand the TOGAF framework and its practical application is supporting the design and application of enterprise architecture. It is designed to give a thorough test of the participant’s knowledge in assessing their own knowledge of TOGAF.
- You need to attend the TOGAF course as it prepares you for writing the examination
- To achieve TOGAF certification, you need attend the 4-day instructor-led course
- The exam is taken as a closed book examination lasting 90 minutes at the end of the course. It comprises 68 questions, all true/false statements whereby students need to attain a target score of 104 points or higher to pass the examination
Certification:
This TOGAF training course will enable enterprise and IT architects, senior managers and designers to achieve TOGAF certification (certification fee is included in the course price).
Satisfactory completion of the 4 day course is required in order to qualify to be put forward to become TOGAF 8 Certified with The Open Group.
The TOGAF exam is applicable to:
- IT architects who wish to gain sufficient information about TOGAF 8 in order to use it effectively in IT architecture projects
- Senior managers who wish to gain sufficient information about TOGAF 8 so that they can exploit it within their organisations
- Architecture tools designers who wish to gain sufficient information about TOGAF 8 to enable them to integrate effective support for TOGAF 8 into their tools
Exam questions are tailored around the concepts and principles of TOGAF. The course is certified by The Open Group.
Prerequisites:
A prior knowledge of IT Architecture is advantageous but not required. During the course students will become familiar with the TOGAF Version 8.1 Enterprise Edition body of knowledge.
